SMUA  is the official organization representing certified umpires for Maine high school baseball.  In partnership with the Maine Principals Association, SMUA strives to promote statewide uniformity in interpreting baseball rules, regulation and officiating standards.  SMUA believes that baseball can serve as a game that fosters the development of character, good sportsmanship and citizenship for Maine's student-athletes.
